Partyin' partyin' yeah! Fun. Fun. Fun. Fun.

We've really been partying it up lately, in large part due to our "Book of Free" but also just because life is good and we ought to celebrate each day God gives us. Here are some of the things we've been doing:

This last weekend was awesome! Friday night we dropped Abi off at 5:30 PM and went to the Quarry for dinner. First we went to EZ's for some sweet potato fries, then 5 Guys for some burgers, and then Jamba Juice for a smoothie. Then we went to see Paul McCartney live!!! Well, at least that's what Nichole thought might be the case for a little while. It was actually a Paul McCartney impersonator with a really crappy British accent, but he looked a lot like Paul and he sang and played really well. He and 3 other guys were accompanied by the San Antonio Symphony performing Paul's music. It was lots of fun and all of the old people were super impressed!

Saturday morning after playing some b-ball, we went up to Landa Park for the Cops and Kids day at the park. We happened to be up there last year for a bbq with ward members, and it was awesome, so we wanted to go again. Nichole let people in our ward know, so saw lots of friends there. They give out a hot dog, chips, soda, and ice cream to everyone. Then, they do a raffle for bikes. Last year like 15 people from our ward won bikes. So, we were really excited and hoping they would call our number. Very first number was ours! So, Abi got a new bike. She is pretty excited about it. She will point around our garage and say, "Papa bike, Mama bike, Abi bike!" After the bike give away, we went swimming. It was super fun. There was a rope swing and a really cool slide that we could take Abi on.

After swimming we drove to Costco where we again had hotdogs, soda, and icecream. We picked up a movie, but it didn't work on our computer, so instead we played some Dominion. Today we celebrated Mother's day with our good friends, and then talked skyped with our family. What a great weekend!

Some other fun things we have done recently:

We went to a hockey game with some friends. We went to Dave and Busters-a really cool arcade. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary by getting donuts and going bowling in the morning, then going out to eat at a nice Mexican restaurant with live music and really good chips-The Palenque grill. We went to Raymond Rimcus park and played tennis baseball. We went to a chinese restaurant with Abi, then took her to Tom Slick dog park. We have been watching a lot of the show, "The Middle".

Coming up: Going to the beach. Nichole's piano students will be having a recital. Going to Natalie's wedding in Utah. Having a baby.

Here are some pictures, in no particular order. Happy Mother's day! I'm super grateful for my mom and for what an awesome mom Nichole is.
