Snow day!

It snowed in San Antonio for the first time in 20+ years! It was barely 1/2 inch, but the whole city shut down. No school and no work!



Enough snow to bring this little guy to "life"! If only we had a felt hat.

This is best picture to actually see the snow. It didn't accumulate on the grass, just on the roads/sidewalks.

There was a nice sheet of ice under the snow, and so our neighbors skated around the cul-de-sac in their cowboy boots. It was a perfect Texas snow.

There is just nothing quite like a snow day!

After an hour or so, our fingers were frozen and our noses red, and we warmed up with some hot cocoa and some cinnamon rolls. And then hopped back in bed for a mid morning nap. It was the best! When we woke up... all the snow was gone. And by the next day it was 60-70 degrees! It was so fun while it lasted. :)
