4 Years!

Last week, Jeff and I celebrated our 4th Anniversary!

I can't believe it's been four years! That feels too long and too short all at the same time. Jeff always does something to make our anniversary feel a special day. That is one of my favorite things... he's always the one to remember our special days (and to remind me!!), and have something ready, and it seems that I'm the one always scrambling at the last minute.





We always go out to eat, and this he found an awesome place. He knows that I love pizza, and so someone in his program referred this little tiny pizza place called Royal Pizza. It was this little pizza place owned and totally ran by a sweet Swedish couple, and all of the pizza are made by this one man, and the ingredients are so fresh. Also, the variety of toppings and pizza combinations was overwhelming! It was so hard to choose. We ended up getting a "kebab" pizza, that had lamb, onions, mushrooms, and a few other things I can't remember. It was phenomenal. However, the coolest part wasn't necessarily the pizza. It was the whole environment, and then Jeff had called before and told them it was a special day for us, and requested that they make a special table, but he didn't think they understood him and he told me before we went. Then as we got there and looking for a place to sit, there was this cute little table with wine glasses and a red checked table cloth, and breadsticks, and glass dishes (all in a pizza place :). It was so cute, and it was a surprise to both of us! They were so kind and sweet to us, and gave us a salad on the house, and made us feel right at home. It was such a fun and simple way to celebrate our four years together, and it just goes to show that you don't have to do really fancy things in order to make things special.
