One Week From Today!!!

Today I scheduled with my Dr. to be induced on July 2nd! We couldn't be more excited. It's only a week away.

I just wanted to get caught up with our latest before the barrage of baby pictures comes, which reminds me that I have not yet put up a sonogram picture of Baby Emily, or a picture of my baby belly.

A few months ago we lost all of our pictures on our external hard drive (which we hope to recover), and so lately I feel like our blog is our safest place for picture we want to remember.

Abigail is at such a fun and busy stage, is nearly 23 months old. She is a sharp girl. She loves to "watch Mama" which means pull her chair up to the kitchen counter or sink and be actively involved in whatever I'm doing. I have started having her help me set the table while I finish up dinner, and am always surprised by what she is capable of.

This is how this girl rolls. She LOVES her Minnie Mouse sunglasses and wears them everywhere. Indoors, outdoors, it doesn't matter.  The shirt she is wearing in the above pictures is my favorite shirt on her.

Library Story and Play Times. What an amazing blessing and fun memory this is for us.We look forward to it every week and Abi loves the crafts and the pretend play centers. It also helps me get out to the library and check out new books, which Abi loves to have us read to her.

This past weekend we were able to see Aunt Kari and Uncle Todd and their kids up at Rita and Alan's house in Beorne. We didn't get too many pictures but had a fun time, and Abi and Russell  hit it off doing somersaults and playing hide and go seek. This cool horse tire swing was pretty awesome. We also got to swim and Abi loved going  the slide on their playscape.

Summertime and the living is easy. We LOVE swimming, and being in the water. Abi is so fun to take swimming and love her hats and swimming suits.

Abi has been so cuddly and loves her blanket and Minnie. She loves to be surrounded by pillows and stuffed animals, and have Mama and Papa hold her. She also loves her "swimming towels" to be "wrapped around" her as she walks around the house.

She has started loving to play with playdough and sit at the table and color and paint. Her attention span for these kinds of things has really increased. She loves to play short "songs" on the piano, and have us clap for her.

Her memory has started to get alot stronger. One day Jeff let Abi hold an unopened bag of chocolate chips, which Abi called "treats". She followed Jeff upstairs, and they got left and forgotten about, until about 3 hours later we were doing our family scripture study and prayer and all of the sudden Abi said, "Treats, upstairs." We had no idea what she was talking about. She goes all by herself upstairs and returns a couple minutes later with the bag of chocolate chips, so very proud of herself.
