Our poor neglected blog. One of my New Year's resolutions is to keep it more up to date. So I'm going to try to do some catching up. Some highlights from August: We closed on our house in Moxee and moved in that first weekend in August. We were excited to have our own place again but also kind of sad that we will never have a time like that again where the girls get to spend so much time with their grandparents. Plus, it was the end of free ice-cream and satellite TV among other things.

Our house had a lot of work to be done, the first of which was to do something about the lovely puke- yellow colored family room and kitchen. In an unbelievably generous gesture of service and friendship, Natalie and Joseph (Nichole's sister and brother in law) came to "visit" and basically spent the entire time working. That weekend we repainted practically the whole house and Joseph built us a huge dining room table! We now proudly tell everyone we have over for dinner that our table was built by Joseph Smith.

Before Natalie and Joseph came, we got a nice visit from Shannon and the Francis boys. It was so great to see them and it was like no time had passed at all, even though we both have kids we didn't have the last time we got together.
